我们为学生安排的寄宿家庭最大限度的接近学生原生家庭环境,目的是让学生有回家的感觉,不要感觉太多的陌生和不习惯,希望学生尽快度过最开始的冲突期从而进入角色开始全新的生活和学习。

当美国的爱心家庭在选择学生的时候也会首先考虑学生的生活习惯和兴趣爱好与家庭成员的特别是家里孩子的习惯和爱好是否相近,希望国际学生和自己的孩子能够成为伙伴和朋友,共同学习和成长

Our daughter is very excited. Our son is away at college and not really aware of the possibility of having an exchange

student.

 

The same as our daughter; doing the family dishes on occasion, washing her own clothes, keeping her room, bathroom, and the game room clean.

 

Hosting in the past has been a good experience for our family. We learn more about other cultures and gain new friends in the process.

 

Our family enjoys visiting historic sites, outdoor activities, and is connected and participates in the local community. A

 

student living in our home would bene t by enjoying the same.

 

One concern that we might have is the possibility of our student not connecting well with our family and consequently

being unhappy in our home. We certainly will make every e ort

 

Our children have never had curfews per say. We are aware of their whereabouts and check in with them when they are out. We generally have prearranged times for her to be in. Since our
